On the third Tuesday of each month from September thru May, the Mycological Society of San Francisco hosts a General Meeting.  May 17th's speaker is Ken Litchfield, who will speak on "Wine, Kombucha, Vinegar - How to Ferment by the Herbal Oganoleptic Style with Emphasis on Mushrooms."

The May 17th General Meeting is also, pursuant to the MSSF Bylaws, the Annual Meeting of the Society, and elections for Officers for the upcoming year will be held.  Any current member of MSSF in attendance at the general meeting may vote. The slate of new officers being proposed to the general membership (pursuant to the Bylaws) by the Council is as follows:

General Meetings have usually taken place at the Randall Museum. We look forward to future meetings where we can share our fungal finds, enjoy mushroom snacks and engage with our guest speakers in-person. Until then, we are fortunate that technology allows us to maintain safe social distance yet still carry on our mission to educate about the kingdom of Fungi.
