MSSF Annual Holiday Dinner, an organized pot-luck dinner to share with other MSSF members and friends.
This year the holiday dinner will be a organized pot-luck held in the auditorium of the Hall of Flowers in
Golden Gate Park. (The auditorium is a large space with high ceilings and good ventilation so we can spread out
and be safe).
Each member and each guest will bring a dish to share with 7 other people and select from the
options provided when registering for the event. (When you register select the package of the dish you will be bringing to the pot-luck dinner).
The society will provide a special holiday eggnog punch which you can spike yourself if you like, (Dark Rum
Provided). (Coffee and Tea will also be provided).
Volunteers will be needed to help set-up, decorate, and clean-up.
Each adult,18 and over will be charged a $10.00 fee to help pay for the hall, and the
punch. Youth of members and guests under 18 will be charged a $5.00 fee, (Children 12 and under are free).
The Holiday Dinner Committee is working on having some form of live and or recorded music at the dinner.
A special raffle will also be conducted if there is sufficient participation, each attendee will receive one free raffle ticket. Additional tickets will be available for purchase, five free tickets will be awarded to those who donate a nice item to the raffle, (Mushroom themed if possible).
This dinner is BYOB, and you also need to bring your
own glasses, place settings, (plates/bowls/flatware/napkins, etc."table cloths are provided").
Everyone who attends will be asked to help break down and clean up at the end of the evening, we will need to
be out of the building by 9:00pm. (More info in the November and December issues of the Mycena News.
